Challenge

Inspire respected bartenders throughout the country to begin suggesting Wild Turkey to their patrons, overcoming the stigma that Wild Turkey is a “harsh” whiskey. 

Solution

Invite small groups of bartenders throughout the year to “glamp” on the distillery grounds. Spend the entire day with the Master Distillers, going through the entire process, from the story of the brand to the barrel and  grains, to the liquid and tasting. Finished off by an outdoor dinner overlooking the valley, we drank bourbon freshly “thieved” from aging barrels selected by the Master Distillers. 

Results

Since 2014, this event has continued to bring bartenders together, creating lifelong bonds between them and the Wild Turkey brand.  

Rebrand & Content

Challenge

Cabo was in need of a serious overhaul, attempting to distance itself from Sammy Hagar while staying “unpretentious” at a higher price point and quality. 

Solution

We were the first tequila brand to enter the BBQ space, working with influencers like Myron Mixon and Dr. BBQ. Through video and social content, we inspired a specific segment of casual tequila drinkers to choose Cabo as the brand that aligned with their values. 

Who says you have to drink beer by the grill? How about a Caborita while picking up invaluable tips from the nation’s top BBQ experts? 

Results

  • 1st Year: Over 3 million video views

Audit & Optimization

Challenge

A life science corporation was spending 20% of their time pulling their media performance data into Excel spreadsheets and manually creating charts for their leadership team.

Solution

BCM worked closely with the team to create custom dashboards that visualized all their marketing data into one interactive view, including digital and social media performance, website data, email, trade shows, PR, and CRM reports. 

Results

Reduced data collection from 20%/week to 2%  

More time available to optimize media led to:

7% to 26% increase in conversion rate

Go-To-Market & Growth

Challenge

A food tech startup needed to build awareness and prove traction to investors. They were having difficulty converting on their site and needed to test usability and messaging. 

Solution

BCM developed a focused digital media campaign using Hubspot landing pages that allowed us to test messaging and quickly optimize media channels based on conversion data. 

Results

Conversion rate rose from 0.3% to 4.1% 

CPA decreased from $198 to $22

Identified the geo-markets with the highest conversion rate and lowest CPA. 

Identified the highest-performing media channels and most effective messaging.

Paid Growth

Challenge

A university in the St. Louis metro region with over a dozen satellite campuses and traditional and online programs asked BCM to audit their previous year’s digital campaigns. We discovered a waste of $37,000 in inefficient spending coupled with a low conversion rate at an unfavorable cost-per-acquisition.

Solution

BCM implemented a targeted strategy based on multiple personas for each graduate program and placed media on channels based on their target audiences. Enhanced tracking was implemented to precisely report the return on their ad spend for each program and persona. 

Results

In 3 Months: CPC fell from $4.41 to $1.94 

In 6 Months: CPA fell from $42 to $20 

Overall conversion rate rose from 0.5% to 20%
